What's her deal?
Rachel Mertz is an actor, singer, and dancer. If you need a quirky best friend with quick wit, she's your gal. As one of four kids, she’s loud and proud with an odd talent for making plans as efficient as possible. With a natural ability to bring comedic characters to life, Rachel shines in roles that highlight her sharp sarcasm. She's always high energy and ready to take on a challenge. It is a big passion of hers to tackle tough topics with humor.
She is currently studying at the University of Central Florida getting her BFA in musical theatre and a dance minor. She recently portrayed “Yente” in Fiddler on the Roof at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center in Downtown Orlando. She was a competition dancer until the age of 14 when she transferred to local musical theatre shows, making her professional debut in 2019 in the Orlando Premier of Matilda the Musical. She is also a member of Alpha Psi Omega, a theatre fraternity at UCF. You can check out her work and some home videos on her youtube channel, www.youtube.com/@RachelMertz.

In her free time, Rachel Mertz loves reading, often losing herself in books that inspire and challenge her. She enjoys making fun home videos with her siblings, capturing memorable moments together.
